How To Draw A Volcano – Let’s Get Started!

Step 4 – Complete The Volcano Crater

Step 5 – Begin Drawing The Ash Cloud Coming Out Of The Crater

Draw curves that follow each other to form part of the shape of a cloud of ash halfway through.
You can also use wavy curves to draw this part for the volcano. Please don’t forget to draw a droplet of melted lava, as seen in our reference image.
Not too tricky, is it? Draw it for a few minutes and go to the sixth step for your drawing work.

Step 6 – Add A Droplet Of Melted Lava To Your Volcano

Like the droplets of melted lava in the volcano you drew, use several curved lines to draw this droplet.
This task you are familiar with and complete quickly to continue drawing the volcano in the following steps.

Step 7 – Keep Drawing More Droplet Of Melted Lava To Your Volcano

Similar to your task in step 6, in this seventh step, you must add a droplet of melted lava to your volcano, as you see in our reference image.
You will also draw a droplet of melted lava that looks like a drop of water; this means the molten lava splashes in different directions.

Step 8 – Continue To Add A Droplet of Melted Lava

You continue to draw a droplet of melted lava like a drop of water next to the droplets you drew in the previous steps.
When everything is done, you can come to the next step to continue your drawing task.

Step 9 – Draw Some Droplets of Melted Lava

Step 10 – Draw the Ash Cloud Outline Coming Out Of The Crater

Step 11 – Add Detail For The Ash Cloud Outline Coming Out Of The Crater

You can add some curved lines in the cloud to complete this part of your volcano.
The curves follow each other and overlap to make the volcano’s clouds more realistic.

Step 12 – Draw The Final Detail For Your Volcano

Before going to the last step of coloring for your product, the volcano, you must draw some details to decorate your volcano.
You can draw some small circles under the drops of lava, creating a natural melting of lava of your volcano, as you see in our reference image.

Step 13 – Color Your Volcano

It’s time to choose the color for your volcano. The color of the volcano is a mix of brown and green, often similar to the color of the earth. On the other hand, molten lava is usually orange or red, depending on its temperature. So, you can color the volcano according to its original color or choose your favorite color to make it unique.
